Com DRS 5000/Universal Microfilm Reader-Scanner
The Eye Com DRS 5000
is a microfilm reader/scanner for roll film and microfiche. With
its low price and small foot print (12"x12") the DRS5000 brings
affordable, compact digital microfilm options to every microfilm
media user including Archives and Libraries. A single USB
2.0 connection to a computer supplies power and data to the
DRS5000. This allows researchers to easily scroll through
microfilm or microfiche. With it's 7x-48x zoom lens the DRS5000
allows researchers to zoom out for a full page or zoom in for
enlarged detail. A single press of the mouse button will capture
the image instantly making it immediately available to save,
print or transfer with multiple options such as email, CD or a
USB portable device. The DRS5000 has a wide variety of simple
interchangeable carriers that will accept 16/35mm roll film,
microfiche, microfilm in 3M style cartridges, and opaque cards.
The single high quality 7x-48x zoom lens on the DRS5000 universal microfilm reader/scanner
and the standard 360
degree image rotation take the DRS5000 versatility to yet a
higher level.
