The Super Carrel M Reader is a versatile reader for all libraries and research institutions. This motorized reader for 16mm and 35mm microfilm uses high quality precision crafted Swiss motors. The rotary speed switch has four positions: Fast Forward, Fast Reverse, Slow Forward, Slow Reverse, with a variable speed range in the slow position for browsing. Film tension is maintained at low speeds to keep constant good focus during browsing. The Super Carrrel M has an automatic opening glass platen for high speed film movement with delayed closing to prevent film scratching.

With all controls and film loading conveniently located near the operator, persons with disabilities will find the Super Carrel M easy to use. There is no need to stand to reach the controls or for film loading and unloading. The 24" x 24" screen is the industries largest and is angled at a convenient 33° for effortless viewing. An 18x-42x magnification zoom lens is standard.

The Super Carrel was designed for ease of use by placing the controls and drive assembly close to the seated operator. Film loading/unloading is easier than ever. Focus and magnification levers are conveniently located for simple adjustment. The power switch and gear selector are also at theoperator's fingertips. With all the controls and film loading conveniently located near the operator, persons with disabilities will find the Super Carrel very easy to use. No standing or excessive reaching is required. Operating instructions are conveniently located at eye level.

The Super Carrel reader is designed to last. Ultra hard alloy drive components, and super strong Delrin® gears, make the gear system is strong and reliable. Internal shafts are made from 1/4" solid stainless steel. All formed cabinet panels are steel with a baked enamel finish for durability.

Gideon 1000 Library Reader

The Gideon 1000 Library Reader is an ideal solution for libraries and research centers for 16mm/35mm microfilm reading. The high resolution 15x to 24x zoom lens and precision focusing display sharp full size images on the generous size screen. Ergonomically designed for comfortable, continuous viewing, the Gideon Library Reader is simple to operate. Easy-to-use push buttons control the motorized film movement. Slow speed is adjustable bi-diercetional with a variable potentiomenter control. Automatic film gate opening protects the film and elimenates scratching. Viewing the image from top to bottom is accomplised with a motorized vertical scan.

Eye Com NW2020 Microfilm Library Reader

Long a favorite in libraries and media centers nationwide, the NW2020 library Reader brings a full range of features to high volume rollfilm applications. The 2020's manual film drive lets you scan in variable speeds. The lens-mounted focus control provides a consistent, precise, razor sharp image from comer to comer of each frame. And with the dual intensity lamp and adjustable condenser, you can fine tune maximum illumination and resolution for each of the four optional lenses.

The NW2020's film transport mechanism is designed to minimize rollfilm scratching and also accept aperture cards. Standard floating glass flats easily accommodate
film splices, while optional Automatic Opening Glass Flats open when film is moved forward or backward to virtually eliminate scratching.

14" x 14" Screen but Still Very Compact

The VMV35-RF is designed to view 35mm open spool roll film on 14" x 14" screen. The VMV35-RF with mechanical odometer features dual lens capability, 360 degree rotation, automatic gate opening at high speed to eliminate danger of film scratching and variable speed control in both directions.
